Wow! What an incredible couple and wedding day! Cynthia and Robert not only had to change their ceremony venue due to construction last minute, but then also had to change their reception venue due to the Carr Fire in Redding. They even had a blast taking photos outdoors in the smoke and over 100 degree heat! The energy and love these two have for one another was obvious. I wish them the best in their future! Congrats!

What a perfect time of year in Redding to do outdoor photos. It's not 110 degrees yet, everything is green and in bloom! It was such a pleasure to be able to photograph my friends' first professional photography session together. We explored the Sundial Bridge area at Turtle Bay and found an amazing grassy meadow among some old oak trees- what a gorgeous spot! Can't wait to go back and take some more there.

What an beautiful day for an spring engagment session and an incredible couple to hang out with! Everything is in bloom in Redding, including the gorgeous pear trees out at Whiskeytown Lake at the Mill Creek area. We had a great time taking engagment photos in front of the Camden House and old barn. This adorable couple is getting married this Fall at an outdoor camp. Their friends and family will camp out in the cabins for the reception and roast marshmallows around the camp fire all nite. Congratulations Katrina and Jordan!

TBS Ranch (http://tbsranchandestate.com/) in Palo Cedro, CA is a perfect spot for a rustic, chic outdoor wedding. The reception is held in an old and charming auction barn- lit up in beautiful chandeliers and white strung lights. Veronica and Logan were the first couple this year to be married at TBS and had a perfect spring day- the sun decided to show after a really good rain storm and they were able to hold the ceremony out on the lawn, where the bride carried a gorgeous boquet of sunflowers down the sunflower lined walkway to the alter (https://www.flowersbyamber.com/). Everyone had a blast dancing the nite away in the barn on a perfect spring evening. Congratulations to Veronica and Logan!

Sarah and Matthew were engaged at the beaufitful Mt. Shasta Resort in the town of Mt. Shasta, CA and decided to go back to have their engagement session there. It looked like a spring day for Februrary with just enough snow on the top of the mountain to showcase why they wanted to have their photos taken here. They share a love of familiy, their dogs, fishing and of course each other. They plan on marrying next Spring at the TBS Ranch in Palo Cedro, CA. I had a lot of fun with this young couple enjoying the scenery on yet another amazing Northern CA winter day. Congratulations Sarah and Matthew!

Congratulations to Sarah and Mark for finally tying the knot after 11 years! They had thier wedding ceremony in the Redwods at Pamplin Grove(www.humboldtgov.org), with a First Look taking place just down the road at an old railroad bridge. The bride wore a vintage style dress along with her grandmother's pearl necklace. The groom's sister performed the ceremony with many memorable and funny stories. I'm so blessed to know Mark and Sarah and I wish them fun filled adventures together forever.

Six miles west of Redding, CA is the old town of Shasta, CA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shasta,_California). From the 1850's to the 1880's, Shasta was the largest settlement in Shasta County and known for its gold mining. Today, there are numerous historic buildings and beautiful mountain surroundings. I did a family photo and engagement session today, and it was a perfect setting. Old brick buildings and ahistoric barn with open feilds of grass and blooming flowers made it a great backdrop.

I had so much fun shooting the Jensen's family portrait session. Not only are they a beautiful and kind family, but they had the most fantastic swing in their yard hanging in an old tree. We got lucky with the weather and had wonderful, soft light in the afternoon time. Thanks again Jensens for a wonderful shoot!
